Meet Dr. Peg Strub

Dr. Peg Strub is a Board Certified specialist in Adult and Pediatric Allergy, Asthma and Immunology She is  a native of Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Strub attended the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University in Chicago.  She completed residencies in both Pediatrics (Children Memorial Hospital) and Internal Medicine (Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center) and a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Strub is the first person in the country to be triple boarded in Allergy and Immunology, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She moved to California in 1985.  In 2020, Dr. Strub also became board certified in Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr. Strub enjoys teaching and is a Clinical Professor at UCSF. She is the Chair of the Clinical Committee of the San Francisco Asthma Task Force (now the San Francisco Asthma Network) which started a yearly program to educate providers in the Bay Area on asthma. The Task Force was the first legislated task force on asthma in the county.  She has volunteered in the Asthma Clinic at Zuckerberg San Francisco General  for many years. Dr. Strub has also served on many pharmacy committees to improve the affordability of medicines  

When not at work, Dr. Strub enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, and family and friends. She enjoys traveling, cooking different cuisines and hiking.
